A well-written request helps Meta understand your situation, but it cannot guarantee approval. Review decisions are made by Meta alone. Nothing you enter is saved or sent anywhere.

How It Works

How to Write a Review Request That Gets Read

Meta reviews a very large number of requests, so a short, clear and polite message works best. State what was restricted, explain honestly what you think happened, and show the steps you have already taken to keep your account safe and within the rules.

This builder puts those parts together for you. Choose your situation, fill in a few details and tick what you have done. The message updates as you type, and you can copy it with one click. If a field is empty, that part is simply left out, so you never send a message with blank placeholders.

Where to Submit Your Request

Disabled Personal Account

Log in to Facebook and use the option shown on screen to disagree with the decision or request a review. There is usually a limited time to do this.

Restricted Ad Account or Business Manager

Open Account Quality, select the restricted asset and choose Request review. Make sure your payment details and business information are correct before you submit.

Rejected Ad

Open the ad in Ads Manager or Account Quality and choose Request review. Often it is faster to fix the ad and create a new version, especially if only the wording was the problem.

Restricted Page

Look for the restriction in your Page notifications or in Account Quality, then follow the steps to request a review.

What Not to Do

  • Do not send the same request many times. It does not speed up the review.
  • Do not use angry language or threaten legal action.
  • Do not claim things that are not true, such as saying you were hacked when you were not.
  • Do not create new accounts to get around a decision. This breaks Meta's rules and usually leads to more restrictions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will a good message guarantee my account is restored?

No. Only Meta decides the outcome. A clear, honest message helps the reviewer understand your situation, but it cannot guarantee approval.

How long does a review take?

It varies. Some reviews are answered within a day, while others take longer. Avoid sending more requests while you wait.

Can I edit the message before sending it?

Yes. Copy it and adjust anything you like. Keep it honest, short and polite, and remove anything that does not apply to you.

Is my information saved?

No. The message is built in your browser and is not saved or sent anywhere. Only you decide where to paste it.
